Weekly Update

So it's almost the end of Spring break. Yesterday I did a recap with the youth, from the all-nighter, to everything that we have learned from 1 John so far. Afterward we played basketball with the older peeps, and I was missing almost everything. Today I got to jog...it has really been a while. The Wulff's parents came home early from a business trip. I installed LAN drivers for the computers...so now we have three of the four computers ready for Starcraft. The fourth one just kinda sucks, so I don't think I'm going to touch it. Thoughts? My Spring break has been awesome.

Daily Log

Long day yesterday. I went to church late, and all eyes were on me during a music team meeting after church. Availability is better than ability. I went to the newest park and played a little basketball, then went to btc and got some Orange Julius. We went to the park near Allen's Pond, where we played tennis, 4 vs 4, and then we all somehow went jogging back and forth between goal posts. Some went to McD's, and afterward some went to the church to pick up some computer parts that were being thrown away. We then went to the Wulff's house and dropped it off, and set up some stuff. Ed called me later and said that we have four computers working.

Today I'm gotta do stuff at school, then head to the Wulff's again to see what we can do.

Daily Log

That all-nighter was great. The topic was about putting on the full armor of God, Eph. 6. Lots of kids, lots of food, and lots of poker. Only problem is that I only got 3 hours of sleep, plus I still didn't fully rest from my jog with my bro. On top of that I stunk. Mmm. I need to catch up on my sleep now. Farewell

Monthly Update

Plenty of things happened this month. I went to my first con, Otakon on top of that. I was alone most of the time, not because I was emo or anything of the sort, but because I could see everything and not be slowed down by anyone. I enjoyed, and maybe I'll go next year. More recently, my bro Josh came to MD with his roomie Ehrin, who went back to SD on Wednesday. Yesterday, Jeremy P and Rico slept over, and we went to Guitar Center in Rockville. Rico bought a Spyder III amp, and Jeremy got...a conga? Or whatever it's suppose to be...yeah. I'm going to head to Mr. P's cottage for an all-nighter. Yay.

I chose to update because...I gotta keep consistent with my hypothesis: daily updates become weekly, weekly updates become monthly. But since people aren't really paying attention to blogs now, I'll be posting more often just to keep track of time.

Two Day Update

Mike and Joe slept over. We spent the night watching retro commercials and cartoons. When we woke up, I tried to make some food. Most of the day was spent playing Call of Duty 4 on my bros computer. I picked up Billy and we went to CHBC, and watched Billy get fried by Pastor Dever for raising his hand too much and not listening to the other person. We were suppose to chill with Phoebe and Chicago people, but didn't get any phone calls.

Tomorrow I gotta...water the plants, take care of my pet mouse, fix the Nagrampa's laptop, and finalize if I'm going to Otakon or not. Thoughts? I wanna read the Bible more.

Weekly Update

I taught the second part of antichrists on Thursday. I somehow ended with...learn everything. I went with Kuya John to get him to sign up for black membership at my gym. My cousin Joe came on Thursday night. Very random. I slept over Gele's house on Friday night. We walked around in the darkness. The literal kind. I think I scared some of them as I walked slowly like a zombie, while everyone was blinded by some light, and could only see a figure in the shadows moving in an awkward pattern. It was my birthday on Saturday. It was the first time I actually got a free slurpee. My bro taught biblestudy, about Matthew 5 and being poor in spirit. Afterward half of us went to downtown Annapolis and ate at Tsunami. Tofu is pretty good. I also got some ice cream. On Sunday everyone met up at VBFM...apparently most of the youth didn't go to HTY. We played basketball and tennis at the park. The Gatdulas also came by. We went to Rita's afterward, and I got what I always get, strawberry shortcake blendini. yumyumyum. We went to BTC Barnes and Nobles for a bit, and then took people home.

It's late. Gnite

Daily Post

I was trying to go with the guys to Ocean City, but unfortunately there was an accident on 50 which held me back for about 25 minutes. I learned later that it was a part of Mr. P.'s company, and he'll pay a bunch for it. When the guys left me, I headed to BTC and got some food at Panera. I went to Barnes & Nobles and studied there for a couple of hours. I looked at a book about wireless security and learned a bunch of things that even a 10 year old could do with WEP. Sounds fun! Afterward I went home and helped with some yard work. Now I'm studying. Fun!

Thoughts? There's so much to learn...

Daily Post

Unfortunately, I was unable to post yesterday, due to myself reformatting my whole laptop. I finally got a new battery for it, so now I can actually use it as a laptop! Before I reformatted, my whole hard drive was one XP partition. Now, I got Ubuntu running, plus I have two different versions of XP, one for important things, like school and programming, and the other I guess...for games? I don't know yet. But I AM excited about actually using Jaunty Jackalope.

Yesterday I picked up Mr. Penya from the metro and dropped him off. I went to the gym for like an hour, and then went to IHOP with Matt, Milton, and Jeremy P. I stopped by Matt's house for a bit and watched them mess with Facebook, and finally played with some Nazi zombies.

Today I went to Sports Fit with Mark N., where we got to play tennis. Unfortunately we were cut short because the court was reserved. Mark showed me his arm workout...perfect timing, as I just did them the day before. It killed me, but it felt kinda good. We picked up Val from work, and ate at Pot Belly. We then went to a DC United soccer game. It rained hard for a bit, but it stopped. We got to see a full rainbow too. DC United beat the NJ Barons, 2-0. I chilled at the Nagrampa's house for a bit and got to see Milton and Mike. I'm now considering if I could...or should, go to Assateague tomorrow.

Thoughts? Hmm...I gotta make up my mind.

Daily Log

I missed biblestudy, and then led the people who weren't going to the retreat meeting to btc. I ate subway. We all walked around for a bit, and then went to the spot. I played basketball, and met a little kid named Andre who wanted to play with us. I tried to make a deal with him, that if he made a freethrow shot, he'd be able to play with the "big boys." He made it on his first shot. I ended the day with talking about lots of things at the Wulff's house (not Ed's, not Matt's). Good times good times.

Thoughts? My mind is becoming more and more unlocked!

Weekly Recap

This week has been okay. I've been studying various things, from the usual nihongo while I drive, to Java and MySQL, to a lesson about antichrists (yes, plural) in 1 John 2, to some piano and some songs. I'm enjoying to learn a bunch of things, and hope it'll stick with me and that I would eventually have the chance to use these skills. Unfortunately I didn't get the internship because they were already one week in and did not have money, but I'm still motivated to study, now even more. Maybe next time I won't be in Cali and I'd have more time to focus. I'll be teaching Kuya Alan some guitar, so hopefully some day he could lead worship while playing guitar, although I think it'll take a good amount of time. I remember myself struggling so much at first, but now my hand does the work for me so I could think more about what I'm singing. Actually, today was supposed to be our first lesson, but he was...stuck in traffic or something. Consequently I missed my chance to go to Artomatic in DC, but I spent the time at the Wulff's killing zombie nazis.

Thoughts? I'm motivated to learn.

Daily Log

I didn't really sleep. Last night I had to pick up my brother from Reagan, but his flight was delayed. I picked him up around 1:30, got home around 2 somethin somethin, and then looked up a little about interviews. I was on the couch and was unfortunately unable to sleep well, and to make things worse, my dad wakes up early to go to work. When I kinda got up, I tried to print out my resume for this internship interview that I had, but unfortunately my printer is broken. I drove to my cousin's house and printed out there, got to the interview, and everything went aight from there. Well there was a small choke up: I was asked about the difference between an abstract class and an interface, and also things about inheritance. My answer wasn't sufficient. I gotta go over what I studied, and hopefully I could catch up.

It's times like these where it's easy to forget about God and rely on human strength. We need to trust in the Lord with all our heart, lean not on our own understanding, and in all ways, through great times and through hard times, acknowledge Him, and He will make our paths straight. I wasn't that stressed out, but it stinks how things seem to work out at the moment it happens.

Thoughts? I'm studying. I'm gonna be studying the whole summer. Yay!

Another random pic. My cousin getting ready to assassinate someone.

Month Recap

Well apparently I haven't upload any pictures, or posted any posts for over a month now. As I predicted when I created this blog, the posts would become daily, to every other day, to weekly, to monthly. I suppose the next post would be next year? Who knows. Anyway, a recap.

I went to Cali two weeks ago. From the airport, we went to...Chinese buffet, international market where we bought a bunch of mangos, Ross, Walmart, some yogurt place, then finally to my uncle's house. We then went to my brother's house, where I got to meet his roommates, then I went to get boba and meet with my cousin's friends, then crashed a study session at my cousin's church just to chill...everyone was studying for their finals. We went to some house and I met more people. Stayed til 3, which is 6 EST...intense first day.

As for the rest of the days, I went to Disney Land for free cause my cousin works there. We also stayed at a Marriott for an undisclosed price...my cousin got a great hookup. I got to see Jen's place. They're pretty messy for girls...even I could do better. We got to see a friend in LA for a bit. I got to drive back to SD halfway cause my cousin got tired. The roads there physically suck...it's just the base, which entails a very bumpy ride. Traffic is strange too; I go 70 mph, then suddenly I stop. Then I go back to 70, then screech on the brakes to stop. No accidents at all. On Saturday I went to Body Rock, a dance competition including groups such as Kaba Modern, Boxcuttahs, So Real, Choreo Cookie, and Poreotics. I suck at dancing, but now I'm inspired to learn. Sunday I went to church with my bro. Monday I flew back...stopped by Phoenix, AZ for two hours. I wish I could've visited Linda...she's like 25 minutes away. But she probably would've been sleeping or playing WOW. Then I went home.

Last week I just helped with an all nighter for the youth in my church. We went through 1 John 2:1-17...four intense lessons, except for Kuya John's lesson; it was pretty much straight-forward. We learned about obeying God's commands with the right motive, which is love. We also looked how our actions should follow what we preach. If we say that we are in the light yet walk in darkness, we phail. I don't think that's an exact quote, but it's something like that. So we do good works not to be saved, but to prove our love for God. We had plenty of games...the most intense one was hide and seek in the dark; Matt Wulff and I were running everywhere. Oh, and the microphone effects are awesomely scary.

I helped with the music yesterday. It's encouraging to hear the church raise their voices in unison (or sometimes just make a joyful noise). Next week we plan to have the youth join in to help with the Sunday music. As for today, I got to study for some internship. I have an intense few weeks ahead of me. I hope I don't lag too far behind...

Thoughts? I feel like jumping on pianos and smashing guitars.

An old pic of Kuya John's basketball game, where he got crushed. Very unfortunate. "Wala!"

Daily Log

Ate crabs for breakfast. Headed to Bowie to meet with Jeremy P., but unfortunately there was an accident on 50, so I went straight to practice. Jeremy came by for a bit, and so did Tony and Marcia. The 3M (Mitch, Mike, and Myrrh) and I went to Chik-Fil-A and then went back to the playground at church to eat. We talked about Linux and RAM, among other things.

Thoughts? Starting next week, I'm planning to add one picture representing the majority of my day. I doubt that I will be consistent with it, because it could become tedious to keep uploading them. But it's worth a shot.

Daily Log

Went to Chipotle then went to the Nagrampa's house for Bible study. Unfortunately, Mike was knocked out when I got there, but fortunately for me, I got time to eat my food. We started 1 John. Talked about the importance of Jesus being an actual, physical, human being. Without being a human, he couldn't die, and if he couldn't die, then we would never be saved. Also talked about gnosticism and how everything is evil, and Jesus being human would make him evil, and thus gnosticism ultimately claims that God is evil, which is actually the complete opposite of the definition of evil. We played a game afterward..."Get some!" "You can't do that!" "Baa!" Afterward, I went with Tita Marie to the gym...which I really needed. A successful day today...it felt guuuud. Oh, and the Lakers lost for the money. Game 7! Not that I keep up with sports...

Two Week Recap

My two weeks of silence has been interesting. I'll see what I could remember.

April 27 - Got an email from my professor saying that I couldn't retake a test that I missed. Turned my A into a B. Also was the last time I went jogging...wow, it's been a while. I went around Whitemarsh with Tina. Then I went to the gym with Matt and later on Jeremy D.

April 30 - I think...I went to Yami Yami and met up with some of the guys, including Christian. Went to class afterward. Went to class and then Biblestudy at Mike's house. Myrrh taught and also had a quiz about...animal facts? Jeanette came...haven't seen her for a while. I think people were saying pickup lines, while I was just chillin on the piano.

May 1 - Went to practice. Played Adonai. Went to Taco Bell and then ate at church while everyone else went to watch X-Men Wolverine.

May 2 - Went to pick up Jernie and Jensen and headed to TREE. I got Danny's with Jeremy P. and then we headed to the Nagrampas to watch the Pacquiao Hattan fight. I felt a little sorry for Hattan.

May 3 - Went to church. Learned some Korean. Went to Friendly's. Went to pick up Tina from BTC. Played base tag at the church.

May 5 - I think...I went to Yami Yami with Billy? Talked about Excalibur, Atlantis, the Garden of Eden, and slaying angels. Went to school and took a final. Went to Jeremy D.'s house to head to the gym. I got all dizzy, so I didn't work out that much. Went to Subway...Jeremy D. treated me. Woot.

May 7 - Hectic day. As I was finishing my project, I saw more instructions online, so I had to go back to change things. I worked hard on it too. Sigh. I didn't get to go to Biblestudy. Sigh.

May 8 - First day of Acquire the Fire. Took an hour to get to Mark G.'s house, so I kinda got everyone late, plus we made a circle in and out of Baltimore which added about 15 mintues...but not really because we didn't miss anything. I learned that drowning is not good for you...forgot the context. We were also born dead. And we shouldn't mix up our wants with our needs, or vice versa. Got to see David Crowder. The bass in the place was pumpin too...I feel it even when I stepped outside. The best part was meeting the VA group. Cool, chill people. Went to their hotel afterward and ate their food...they offered, so we couldn't deny it! It's great being Filipino. I also got a chance to jam on the awesome piano in the lobby. We went to Mark's house and I stayed up til 3. I slept with Rhea, or whatever her name is. She kept my legs warm.

May 9 - Second and final day of ATF. Broke up the guys and girls. Said hi to Pastor Wayne from Praise and Thunder. Walked to the Inner Harbor and ate some Chipotle. I ate too much...Lizelle couldn't finish her food. We went back...to a concert? People were trying to crowd surf, but it was stopped fast. We had another break...I was still full. For the last part of ATF, I wandered around outside while they had a play and lots of music. I was on the phone with Jeremy P., as he was in Panera. I also got to talk to people out in the hall.

May 10 - I woke up at 8, but it was cold, so I went under my blankets and went back to sleep. Woke up at 11, realized that I was late for church, so I went back to sleep. Woke up at 2, in an empty cold house...ate "breakfast" and then went to my aunt's house for a mother's day celebration thingy. Went to Bowie really late and got some Rita's. Went to the Nagrampa's house and sighed at a bunch of wrong answers on someone's CIS final.

Today I went to WBC and met up with Mike at the library. I haven't been at WBC for a while. I got to see Rolland. I also met Jerome and...another guy, who's a great singer. Mike, Rolland, and I went to Jerry's Subs and Pizza afterward. I took Rolland back to WBC. Now I'm home. And thus concludes the two week recap.

Thoughts? It's interesting learning about trials, and then when they actually come, it's harder than what was expected. We need to listen more to the Word before we fall into temptation, or else we would become an easy target for sin. Take time for prayer and reflection, and ask God for wisdom, which he will give abundantly to those who seek it.

Daily Log

Washed car. Mowed lawn. Picked up Liz and went to practice. Had BBS. Played a little basketball. Went with Mike to Friendly's. Too many people, so we headed to the Garalde's house. Jeremy P. had to go home, so I went with him. Had some Chik-Fil-A. Got dropped off at HTY. Went home. My dad's bday today. My bro got him a hammock. Thoughts? It's late. I'm gonna sleep now.

Daily Log

Yesterday, Comcast was acting up, so I was unable to post. I went to class, went to pick up Tony Dong, then went to bbs at Mike's house. We had a little meeting, and then went to Chik-Fil-A to take some heat. Went back to Mike's house, then went to gas up, and finally dropped of the Castelos.

Today, I got to see Brittnaaay, whom I haven't seen for like...a year. She introduced me to the anime club. They seemed like pretty chill people. I also got to see Tasha for a second. I brought Brittnayy (aka Yuki, by her club) to get Chik-Fil-A. Met a Brandon, Denise, Joseph...and I forgot the rest of the names. Went to btc and chilled at Music and Arts. My friend's mom who works there had to go home early because someone broke into their house. I went to deposit a check, and then went to Panera, where I saw Kuya Alan, and ate with him. Went to practice. Tina came by, so we went to Applebees to check up on Kish Kish. Saw Mary there too. Went to Ruby Tuesday's, but heard the Milton wasn't working. Went back to Applebees and got some...desserts and drinks. Dropped everyone off home...I felt like a taxi driver. Went to TenRens to see Matt Billy and Josh Kurikeishu, and then got some drinks and went home. Got to see my parent's new SUV that they bought today, a 2009 Rav 4. And that was my day.

Thoughts? My bro spoils me too much. He's paying for my tick to atf. And Tita Caroline spoils me too. I hear that she might pay for my tick to a Hillsong concert. I get spoiled too much. But I'm very grateful!

Daily Log

Went to Bowie. Watched HTY practice. Went to the gym. Went to JM's house. Fixed computer. At home. Watching Shippuden, checking where they're at in the anime. About to sleep. Gnite.

Daily Log

Great weather during the morning. Studied outside on my deck for a test. Got to see Joan on campus. Went to class. Took the test. Weather turned deadly...I saw thunder strike before my eyes...which blinded me on the road. The rain was heavy...I couldn't see the lines. Went to Johnmark's house. Dropped off guitar and shoes. Installed SP3 for his comp. Went to btc and got some deadly chocolate icecream, then went to Barnes and Nobles and read some manga. Saw a living room. Went home. Ate bread. Thoughts? Congrats!

Monday, April 20, 2009

Daily Log

Yesterday I went to church. Stephen and his family came after service was over. I got to meet...Victoria and Isabella? And his parents. We broke an airhogs airplane. I went jamming on the piano with Myrrh. I went to drop off something at btc for my friend Kitty. Went to pick up Kisha, Mary, Tina...and a dog, and went to the park. Played basketball. Phailed as usual. Went to Chipotle at btc. Ran over Andrew's foot. Actually, I didn't run over it...I stopped my car on top of it for a good 10 seconds. Went to get gas and kinda got locked out of my car. Went to drive around. Did some driving practice. Went home.

Today I did some homework. I picked up Rico and went to the gym. We went to Chik-Fil-A. Dropped Rico at home. And now I'm home.

Thoughts? My arms hurt. I can't move them.

Saturday, April 18, 2009

Daily Log

Ironed clothes. Picked up Rico and Liz and went to TREE. Went to McDonalds and then went to Tina's house. Dropped off the Nobles and DeAndre. Thoughts? I think it's an awful idea to overlook things and pretend that it didn't happen, in hopes that it won't happen again. It always just seem to get worse and worse if left alone. We gotta stay proactive in fixing the problem as soon as possible, in order to help prevent it from happening again. But as a Filipino, our culture doesn't like to speak up. We need to be heard.

Daily Log

Got only four hours of sleep. Yawn. Took my bro to the endoscopy center. Went home. Picked him up. Went home. Went to Matt's house. Went to btc to pick up Cynthia and got some Chipotle and went to Allen's Pond and walked and talked and walked some more. Dropped her off back at btc. Went to pick up my cousin Noel. Took him to Grace Baptist. Went to VBFM for practice. Went to Liz's house. Saw adults through the windows, so didn't go inside. Went to McD's to meet up with Jeremy D. and Myrrh. Went back to Liz's house and went inside. Ate a bunch of fudge cookies. Took a nap on a bunch of chairs. Took Jeremy P. home. Took the Nobles home. Took myself home. About to get on the phone now.

Thoughts? Even though this is a pretty concise summary of my day, it's still kind of long. This has been a long day. Yawn. But it's been a great day.

Daily Log

I woke up in the morning from a barking dog...my aunt brought Bungie inside our house and it made so much noise...oh well. I got to finish plenty of schoolwork today. I went to Bowie for sec, and then went to Mike's house, had bbs, went to Chik-Fil-A, took the heat, went back to Mike's house, and now I'm home. Thoughts? I've learned to not give too much incriminating details online. I'm just going to recap my day in a very basic manner. And I'm also grateful for friends to keep me on a good path. It really shows that they care, and that's the quality I love in a true friend, someone who would tell me something personally without gossiping about it with everyone else. Other than that, I had a good day. =)

Daily Log

Today I woke up a little early to pick up some tax paperwork. I went straight home. I watched over my grandma. I did school homework and projects. That was my day. Yawn.

Daily Log

Today I went to the gym and met up with Rico, Mike, Emilio, and Jeremy P., and we worked out for...a while. We then headed to Danny's and were a little bummed out because of the $8 minimum charge for credit cards, which in the state of MD is illegal to have a minimum the last time I checked...but I don't want to argue about it with them. I got a foot long crab cake sub, and only finished half of it. Right now I'm in class, talking about arrays.

Thoughts? I hope the other half of my sub is okay in the car. I miss it. I'm also thinking about my thoughts, and realized my thoughts are about what I'm thinking of what my thoughts are. My head hurts.

Daily Log/Easter Recap

Yesterday was a long day. I woke up really early for Easter service. It was a little different; there were two services, one for sermons and one for music. Both Pastor Kohl and Pastor Tohbie praught...or preached. Amazingly, they didn't go over or under their time limit. Pastor Kohl said something interesting about a certain day for a king to be...indited? I guess that's the word. Anyway Jesus was given a robe, a scepter, and a crown...although the crown was made of thorns. Then again I usually don't take notes so I forget everything. After the first service, we had breakfast. Mmm...food. Then we went back for the second service and sang a bunch of songs. Then...lunch? I was still full from breakfast. I jammed with Milton and Johnmatt...fun stuff. I went with Johnmatt to HTY and chilled there for a bit. Then I went to get gas by myself and then met up with everyone at the spot. I was sucking at basketball...missing all my layups...so I just started jogging around. I realized that it's not that motivating to run without a running partner. After chilling at the spot, I dropped off Johnmatt, dropped off Stephen, and went home.

Today was uneventful...which is actually a good thing. I need to take a breath or two. I jogged around my neighborhood a bit...got to see things that I've never seen before. But again, it was kind of boring by myself. Yawn. Billy was with his dad doing "business." I'm currently doing a programming project, and hopefully afterward I could head to the gym with Jeremy Dinio.

Daily Log

I woke up today. After I woke up, I got out of bed. Once I got out of bed, I stretched a bit, and started to walk my way upstairs. I took one step on a stair, then I took another, and then I took even more steps! I went to the kitchen. I took some antibiotics. I also realized today that people do read this thing, even though I get like one reply. I ate breakfast...I believe it was Cheerios, which may help lower cholesterol. I ate it with milk, and although it didn't fill me, it satisfied my hunger.

I recorded a song with my brother today...I was playing around, yet my brother still posted the video on Facebook. But it's aight, I guess. I went to pick up Stephen from his dorm in UMCP, and then picked up Rico from his house. We went to church and practiced. I got to talk to random people...interesting day, people just keep pulling me aside to talk about something. But I suppose it's a good thing, I wouldn't have it any other way. So yeah, we had Biblestudy continuing Matthew 5, which is about fulfilling the law, murder, adultery, and marriage. Probably more, but that's all that's coming on my mind. I got to meet Emily and Luke, both awesome people. Well at least for the little small talk that we had. Maybe I'll see them again, who knows. We went to Pizza Hut and had a mix up with our payments. My cousin Joe talked to Mary, and thought her stripper name was LaFawndia, but it's actually Jade. I had extra money, but Jade wasn't on her shift, so maybe next time. Just maybe. After that we chilled in the parking lot...and no cops came this time! A few of us went to Kisha's house and played some Naruto. Now I'm home...I missed the chance to go to the BP with Jeremy. Sigh. There will be a next time...hopefully. Now I'm home...just ate some ice cream, and now I have to sleep early because I'll be waking up early. Gnite.

Thoughts? I wonder when is Jade's next shift...

Daily Log

I woke up with my mouth still in pain. My aunt came back from the Philippines today and brought some food. I went to pick up my antibiotics at CVS...I'm like two days late, but oh well. I went to Bowie and jogged with Tina through some random trail. Everybody in Bowie is so nice...just a smile or a wave, and they would respond in a similar manner. After running, we picked up a trashcan from the house and practiced some driving at the Bowie Baysox Stadium for Tina's driving test. Everything looks good...she'll pass the test easily. I think she could parallel park better than me. Afterward we jammed at her house...I know how to play the cello now! Well at least the C major scale. And Twinkle Twinkle Little Star! I also got to see awesome paintings throughout the house. After that I went to ateh Wenmae's house and got to see Theleah. She was playing Mario Party with Luis. I then went to Mike's house and ate there. We had biblestudy on James 1:9-11, which is about being literally rich or poor. Interesting discussions. Basically, having more money can be an obstacle, or relating to the other lessons, they are trials set before us. Especially in our culture, we rely on money so much that it would be hard to rely on God to carry us through. After biblestudy, we played pool and made some towers with dominos. Now I'm home...about to sleep.

Thoughts? My thoughts are fleeting me by the second. Per'aps I will never unlock my own mind. Oh...friendship came across my mind. A friend called me up, and asked me for some advice. Being a friend isn't just giving the advice, but also sympathizing and giving a shoulder to cry on. So yeah...sigh...friendship is hard work.

Daily Log

I woke up in the morning because I got cold, so I got another comforter and put it on top of my bed. It was so comfy. I slept well. I dropped off my prescriptions at CVS...I wonder if I really need to take the medication. Afterward, I went to pick up Rico. It was hard getting him out, because his mom and aunt were in the driveway and I didn't want to beep the horn or knock on the door while they were there. We headed to the Crofton bowling alley and met up with Matt, Myrrh, Kisha, Mary, and Tina, and we bowled two games. Well...kinda sorta. Afterward we went to BTC minus Myrrh, because she had to be at practice at 6PM. I got a spinach pizza...it was yum. We all went to DEB and looked at some shoes, but unfortunately I didn't find any my size. I saw Jernie and Jensen and their friend...Deonte? I went to church for Sunday practice...we're doing like eight songs for Easter. Afterward Mike and I went to Matt's house, just to find a bunch of cars over at Lizelle's house. We went across the street and chilled at Lizelle's house for a while. And now I'm home, and was jamming to a song with my brother called Trouble, by Coldplay. Very simple. And I don't really like Coldplay. But it was aight.

Thoughts? My mouth stopped bleeding. But unfortunately it's starting to hurt. Other than that...I wanna get something to eat. Nothing really on my mind right now. Yawn.

Daily Log

Got two wisdom teeth extracted today (the other two were done like two years ago...never got around to the others 'til today). I went to Matt's house and played a little Halo 3, sucking badly. I'm videogame deprived...I'm losing my gaming skills. I went to the HTY practice and saw Angie and Myrrh chillin on some chairs. Afterward I went with Jeremy and Rico to Chik-Fil-A and got some soup. I didn't know that they had soup. Now I'm home...the pain in my mouth isn't as bad as I expected it to be...although it still hurts a bit. I'll probably just sleep it off and fully recover my HP. So for now, gnite.

Daily Log

Woke up around 11. Went to go running at Allen's Pond with Tina at 4...went only two laps cause Tina has a track meet tomorrow and shouldn't overwork herself the day before. We got some Orange Julius at BTC afterward, and drove around. I drove to Joseph Neil's driveway and watched them play some basketball. I think dropped Tina off and headed to Jeremy Dinio's house and stayed for a bit. I later met up with Rico and Matt at the gym, and then we went to Matt's house and ate some great leftovers.

Tomorrow I'm going to have two of my wisdom teeth extracted (the other two were already extracted a while ago.) I'm getting local anesthesia, which means it'll hurt a loooooot. I can't wait!

Daily Log

These past two weeks of blogging is showing something interesting. I'm not posting on Sundays, although I DO want to post every day. Since this is becoming the norm, I guess I'll stick to it.

Yesterday has been a long day, just like the past few days. Jeku, Marker, and I went to VBFM, each using our different vehicles. I thought I had to teach because I was told last week that I would, but...nope! HTY had a joint service with Redeemer, so Matt and Jeremy P. came by.

I went back into the sanctuary and listened to a guest preacher. It was about understanding our problems and how we could win over them. It was on 2 Corinthians 4:7-12. I think it ties perfectly with our youth group's study on James, which is about counting our trials all joy, and seeking wisdom if we lack any. People who are in hard times are perfect candidates for miracles.

Afterward, I went with Jeremy P. to get some drinks at 7-11, and Jeku and Rico went to follow behind us, thinking that we were heading to the park. Jeremy and I walked inside Outback Steakhouse to try and trick the others where we were headed to. It didn't really work...they met up with us inside 7-11. We got our drinks and headed to the spot...the park. We played basketball, and I played a little tennis, and also helped very little with logarithms for Hannah's homework. Afterward we all went to Saigon and I got an A5 small. I went to the Nagrampa's house to play some Melee and make some Radwimp songs on the guitar with Milton, then went downstairs and slept on the couch.

Today, Monday, has been yet another long day. I woke up around 7 something because of the coldness. Someone put a blanket on me...how nice. I went upstairs to practice some Melee, only to be greeted by Mark Nagrampa, who made the game not fun again...although I did learn some stuff. I went back to sleep downstairs after watching Enchanted. I went to Matt's house and jogged twice around his block, as I waited for him to finish cooking his food. He cooked good food...fried rice with some left over steak, and some corn beef with onions. Yum. After that we watched Yes Man. Good movie. After that we went to Planet Fitness, and Mike and Milton followed afterward. I signed up...one dollar signup fee, plus $10 per month. Awesome stuff. I just have to remind myself to leave before October, in order to avoid the $29 annual fee.

Thoughts? I just had a bunch of loooooong few days. I need to take a breath or two. Yawn. I'm sleepy now. Hopefully I don't sleep over 13 hours again.

Daily Log

Looooooooong day. Woke up around 7, went to Bowie to pick up Kisha, Mary, and Myrrh, and then headed to the metro. There was a long line, but the other guys were at the front already. I also helped out Irene and Eric and their friend...I forgot her name. We went to DC and saw the parade...the best part of it was seeing Alex Trebek. That made my day. After that, we headed to the Sakura Matsuri festival. I wandered around...went to see some judo. Wandered around some more...got some suave cherry blossom body wash, and passed the offer on the free hand massage. Tried to look for dongos...apparently Jeku and I passed it several times. Jeku and I didn't want to wait in these long lines...so we went to the food court to eat some gyros. Yeah, gyros for a Japanese fest is awesome. I saw a man...girl...girly man...maybe a girl...playing a sax inside the food court. Really relaxing. Afterward we headed our separate ways; Matt and Jeku went to see the cherry blossoms, while I got to see Ai Kawashima. Afterward I saw American Shorthair perform, and I asked a question in the Q&A session, but apparently it was already asked. Oh well. I went to our meeting spot: the obelisk, then headed to see Mark G., then went back to the obelisk. We went back on the Metro.

I went to take Myrrh home, then went to Bowie Town Center...I ordered a strawberry Julius, which was introduced to me by Tina. Matt, kuya John, Mary, Tina and I bothered Mike as he got off work. I dropped off Kisha at work. We went back to btc. I saw Yip on his lunch break. I then went to drop Mary off at Outback Steakhouse, with Aaron, Milton, Jeremy, and Tina. I headed to Rockville to eat authentic ramen with Jeku and my brother. It was yum. We also got some green tea snowball with red bean stuffs. After that, I headed home. Now I'm just yawning, trying to finish this blog.

Thoughts? Some days I just wish I had someone to hold. It was windy today, so it'd probably keep me warm. But good thing I'm blessed with great friends. They could keep me warm too.

Daily Log

So Thursday night was great. I went to the Porter's house; Myrrh taught Bible study on James 1:5-8, which is about asking for wisdom. Afterward, we ate for Kuya Allan's birthday. MJ let me borrow his Heelies, so I'm hoping I could be pro with them when he comes back from Florida. I slept over Mark R.'s house; Jeku came there from NC.

Today...technically yesterday, was a long day. After Meleeing with Jeku, Marker, and Rico, I went jogging with Jeku. The hill got me. But I'm looking forward to more hills. One day I'll defy gravity. We then went our separate ways. I went to some church in Clinton, and my church performed for their street ministry service. Great stuff. I went to Lizelle's house for Biblestudy, but I left before anything happened because Marker and Jeku are sleeping over my house right now. So here I am preparing for tomorrow, the Cherryblossom festival. I just want to get some nice sushi. And maybe I could pop that Hello Kitty float. That'd be fun, seeing Hello Kitty flying over DC.

Thoughts? None that I can think of right now.

Daily Log

Yesterday I ran! I went a little more than 2 miles, but I was with Billy so we went at a slower pace. Afterward, I actually got to go inside his house for the first time. I found out where his back problems happen. I then headed to Liz's house and jammed a bit with JM, Lizelle, and Leanne. Then Johnmark and I went to Pasadena and played basketball with James. I learned some lay up stuff. We finished the day with eating some Popeyes.

Today I woke up around 9 from a call, then went back to sleep. I woke up around 12. I'm sad. The good thing is that my professor let me skip today. Woot. Well time to get things done.

Devotions: Exodus 15:22-18

Today I decided to read that I forgot about in the Bible, trying to fill in the gaps so I'd get the bigger picture. I looked through an outline in Exodus, and decided to read chapters 15 to 18, which is about Israel complaining and Jethro giving Moses advice.

15:22-27 is about Israel lacking drinking water. I think that a person could only last about three days max without water. In v.22, it said they went three days with no water. They went to a place called Marah, but the water wasn't good for drinking. If I was an Israelite at that time, I'd be pissed off, or rather dying of thirst. I'd be mad at Moses for taking me out of Egypt where there was plenty of drinking water, only to die in the wilderness. But because the Israelites were complaining, God provided, telling Moses to...cast a tree into the water to make it sweet? The most important part of this passage is that they eventually came to a place called Elim, which had all the water that they needed. So if the Israelites DID trust in God to provide, they would have drank at Elim.

Chapter 16 was Israel complaining about food. Yum. God provided by...raining down Manna, or bread, from the heavens during the mornings, and also providing quail in the evenings. V.6-8 shows that Moses and Aaron agree that they're nothing. They told Israel, "Who are we, that you complain against us?" Israel is not complaining against them, but against the LORD Himself. In v.27-30, some people tried to gather some Manna during the Sabbath, just to find nothing. This disobedience led the LORD tell Moses, "How long do you refuse to keep My commandments and My laws?" So not only did those few people become responsible for their disobedience, but Israel corporately had the blame.

Chapter 17 was about water again. The LORD told Moses to strike a rock, that water may come out of it. The rest of the chapter is about Moses defeating te Amalekites. The Israelites prevailed when Moses took his rod and held up his hands.

Chapter 18 is about Jethro's advice to Moses. It's very practical. Basically Moses told Jethro about what has been happening, that whenever Israel was in a struggle, they came to him for guidance. Jethro said that it would eventually be too burdensome, and suggested that Moses should find able men with qualities such as these: fear God, men of truth, hates coventousness. These men were to lead groups of people, from tens of people to thousands of people. So basically, instead of millions of people going to Moses for advice, the burden would be separated toward these new leaders.

Thoughts: Did you know that Manna means "What?" The Israelites didn't know what it was, so they just called it...what?

Daily Log

Running was great yesterday, even though I'm out of shape. Apparently I went about 2.5 miles. I felt really numb...but I guess through time it will get better. Went to Jeremy D.'s house...they all use two laptops at a time. I went to pick up my brother at the airport; he told me that his snowboard got stolen. Sigh. But he has money, so he isn't that worried about it.

Today I woke up a little late. I'm now in class learning about constructors in Java. I'm bored.

Daily Log

Yesterday was Mark P.'s last day at HTY. I also picked up some diapers and put it in Mike's trunk...this is literal, not code talk or some innuendo. We all went to the spot and played some football; Val's brother Aaron was there too. I went home early so my dad could go to church while I watch my grandma. I did lesson two of the singing success program, and it's starting to make more sense.

This morning I had to go to Bowie Town Center to get the diapers that I forget to get from Mike's trunk. I didn't know where he parked, so I parked a little far. It was great running around BTC with two bags of diapers. I'm home now, about to eat, and looking forward to start running. I gotta get some running shoes soon too.

Thoughts? Running around BTC with diapers was a life changing experience.

Daily Log

I went to TREE today and Billy taught about the beatitudes. Straight to the point, we all phail. We have nothing at all to offer God. Isaiah 64:6 says that all our righteous acts are like filthy rags, which is simply that every good work that we do is trash. The question boiled down to what are we going to do. How do honestly hunger and thirst for righteousness?

After TREE we went to Pizza Hut and took up the whole place...no one goes there. Although it's kind of costly, it'll probably be the new chill spot. After that I went to Jeremy Dinio's house for a bit, then went to the BP and hanged out for the rest of the night. Great conversations, and of course there's always physical sustenance near by if we needed some.

Thoughts...I feel kind of good. I don't have any conflicts with anybody...and if someone has one with me, I just need to know about it and I'd try to fix it. It's great having sincere, genuine, and awesomlysuperfantasticalioucious friends. On top of that, I'm learning more about what it means to genuinely love God, as opposed to just hearing the cliche phrase of loving God.

Daily Log

Just a recap of everything that happened yesterday...it was a long day as expected. I started the singingsuccess vocal lessons. Listening to it makes me believe that it's really going to help a lot. Anyway after my long nap, I picked up Josh Comia and MJ (Mitch had lots of school work to do) and headed to church for bible study. I taught on James 1:1-4, which is all about being joyful during persecution, because trials really test our true heart and if we really believe what we believe. After that, we all ate and then headed to go bowling, but unfortunately it was packed...I didn't know that it would be packed on a Thursday night. We considered rollerskating, but if we went, we would have about 15 minutes to rollerskate. And of course there were no iceskating sessions. So we went back to the church and played hide and seek, which was awesome.

And now today. I woke up around 12, because I'm thrown off from dropping off my brother yesterday around 5:30. I got a haircut today. And right now I'm just watching over my grandma.

Thoughts? Hmm...one came to mind. My character pushes me to help others in need or in pain. The thing is, sometimes I get too caught up in helping other people, that I don't have time to take care of my own problems, whatever they may be. Maybe I should take a step back and reevaluate things.

Daily Log

Woke up around 5:00 AM to take my brother to the airport. Well technically he took me to the airport, and I took the car back home. He's on his snowboard trip in Utah. Anyway, it's hard for me to fall back to sleep after I wake up, so per'aps I'll just crash around 12PM and wake up at around 8PM. Hopefully not though...long day today. I got to finish my lesson for tonight, plus finalize everything with Micah's birthday. I'll see how everything goes.

So far I have only listed a log of my day, or my expected day in this matter. I haven't said much about my own thoughts. There's always plenty on my mind, yet when I attempt to access these thoughts, something locks me out. So what am I thinking? No one will ever know, not even me. Per'aps in time, someone will unlock my mind.

Daily Log

Billy and Daniel randomly came over my house, uninvited as usual. We recorded some tracks: Changes by Tupac, the Pokemon theme, Billie Jean, and some other failed ones. Actually, they were all failed ones. But it's all good. There's a problem with the syncing, mostly due to people without natural rhythm, partially because the computer sucks. I'll see if I could find out how to post them.

Daily Log

I woke up around 11:30 by someone knocking on the door. She was doing a survey, but I told her to come another time. I have a big test later tonight, and so I'm studying for it right now. But as of right now now now, I'm going to head to pick up my uncle from work.

I wonder how long I can keep posting these things...before I start posting weekly, then monthly, then annually...

My First Blog

So this is how the story starts. Once upon a time, there was this man named Jason. He was a man of many thoughts. Unfortunately, per'aps due to a lack of sleep, his memory was always fleeting. So one day, he decided to create a blog.

"What would this blog accomplish," he thought to himself. He continued to wonder. And now he's still wondering.

--To be continued--
